Angel is a lifelong dancer who started training at the age of 3 and had begun competing in jazz and contemporary by the age of 9. She found her true passion in the discipline when she discovered ballroom at age 13, where she continued dancing competitively while working toward her goal of turning professional. By 17, she was both teaching and competing professionally, and went on to earn her certification in both the Fred Astaire syllabus and the Dvida syllabus while training with some of the most renowned names in the ballroom industry.

She has competed nationally and internationally, earning several first place titles including Commonwealth Theatre Arts Champion, multi-time Fred Astaire regional Theatre Arts Champion and National Rising Star Theatre Arts Champion. She was also one of 20 of the world's best dancers invited to compete at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival in 2019.

Throughout Angel's journey as both an amateur and professional competitor, her driving force has been her love of teaching the art form to others - a dream she has had since those first days as a little kid in ballet slippers. Angel has been a student of dance for as long as she can remember, and it has always been a safe place for expression and community, which is why she is committed to bringing that experience to every one of her social and competitive students. The joy of dance and the pride she feels in watching people reach their goals and improve themselves through dance is why she is most fulfilled in her role as a teacher.
